Bridge Europe Consulting - Helping Entrepreneurs Grow a Better Business
Bridge Europe Consulting is an English - Romanian company, dealing with European funding projects, financial advisory and operations advisory for small and medium businesses. Around 2012, BEC wanted to re-position itself, from an EU funding consultancy to a full-service management consultancy, targeting entrepreneurs.
There was a clear opportunity on the market, since big management consultancies such as McKinsey and Roland Berger never catered to small and medium companies, because of the small projects size and also the labor-intensive requirements of dealing with an entrepreneur, often lacking in-house skills. Obviously, most entrepreneurs had a good idea about their business, but lacked the people or the skills in very specific domains such as marketing, CRM or sales strategy. So, the consultancy had to take over these tasks from the entrepreneur and do more than just consult.
This market difficulty, as it's often the case, turned out to be a blessing in disguise. What differentiated BEC from other professional services, was precisely this: the care and desire to go all the way with a client - not just issuing a consulting paper, but actually guiding the client step by step.
This insight formed the core of BEC brand platform: a team of management consultants, nimble enough and caring enough, to actually implement what they suggest. Walking the talk.
From this simple idea, the brand platform flowed easily: from the vision of helping entrepreneurs improving their business to crystallizing the company values: care, creativity (an unheard-of value among management consultants, but quite needed among entrepreneurs), doing right, thoroughness and audacity.
The brand identity was redesigned to symbolize the value that the company brings and the manner in which it delivers these services: we took a concept that was very business-related - a growth chart - and hand-drew it. Thus, the new identity shows the human part and the caring part of BEC. that is applied in all its client interactions.
